The Lone Star Schipperke Club welcomes individuals who share an interest in Schipperkes and in the purposes of the Club. Whether you are a longtime owner, breeder, exhibitor, or simply someone who loves the breed, we invite you to learn more about our club and membership opportunities.

Membership offers the opportunity to connect with fellow Schipperke enthusiasts, support club activities, participate in meetings and events, and help preserve and promote this remarkable breed.

As a member of Lone Star Schipperke Club, you become part of a community dedicated to the Schipperke and to the advancement of the breed through education, responsible ownership, sportsmanship, and fellowship.

Members have the opportunity to:

• Participate in club meetings and activities 
• Support Schipperke education and outreach 
• Connect with fellow owners, breeders, and exhibitors 
• Volunteer at specialty shows and club events 
• Contribute to the direction and future of the club through membership involvement and voting privileges 

MEMBERSHIP REQUIREMENTS

Prospective members are encouraged to get to know the club and its members before applying.

Please note: Attendance by the applicant at one meeting of the Club is required before voting acceptance.

Membership applications are subject to review and approval in accordance with the club’s bylaws and membership procedures.

ATTENDING A CLUB MEETING

Attendance at one Club meeting is required prior to membership acceptance.

To attend a meeting, please Request Meeting Access to receive details and a Zoom link for the next scheduled meeting.

RECAP ON HOW TO APPLY

1. Request access to a club meeting. 
2. Attend one club meeting. 
3. Complete and sign the fillable Membership Application and Code of Ethics. 
4. Submit your completed forms according to the instructions provided on the documents. 

After the required meeting attendance and receipt of completed forms and membership dues your application will be presented for consideration in accordance with club procedures.
